Greek Revival

This estate, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, was built in the Greek Revival Style. The 10 acre garden was designed to compliment the style of the home.

Carving into the forest, strong site lines were developed, ending at two obelisks that represent the pillars of truth. ‘Glowing Embers’ Hydrangeas flank each approach alley, symbolizing the client’s life-long passion for finding a cure for prostate cancer. Greek-inspired goddesses situated at the intermediate focal points watch over the garden. At the center of it all you will find a Triple Lotus Fountain. Perfectly bi-symmetrical paths and gardens balance the front, while in the back you can find Andromeda’s Alley, beginning just on the other side of the reflecting pool.
