Italian Renaissance

This garden, located in Birmingham, Michigan, is a perfect combination of elements from both Italian Renaissance garden styles.

Reflecting the axial orientation of the house, this garden is enhanced with bold features and garden vignettes. A beautiful formal reflecting fountain pool, which doubles as a swimming pool was constructed upon the primary axis that extends out from the back of the home. After passing through the Four Seasons Pleach Alley, you arrive at the intermediate focal point, expressed in the form of a fountain. Moving forward, you arrive at the point of refuge expressed in the form of a temple, which secretly offers an entry to the woodland garden.
